Our membership model makes us unique in that our members include state regulators, credit unions, and credit union leagues. All groups come together in one place for a mutual exchange in dialogue of policy issues that impact and help shape the state system. Our policy positions are “informed by” the expertise and experience of our members.
  • Policy summaries. Unlimited access to our policy summaries of various proposed rules (legal opinions) and final rules; automatically sent to the organization’s primary contact and available for research on our website.
  • NASCUS Report. Weekly e-resource that highlights our activities, what we see coming ahead of primary interest to the state system, and what it all means from our perspective. Available to an unlimited number of staff and credit unions’ volunteers.
  • Legislative & Regulatory Committee. Eligible to join our Legislative & Regulatory Committee that works to advance legislative and regulatory issues to preserve a viable and attractive state credit union system. The committee, comprised of credit unions, leagues, and state regulators, meets monthly to develop NASCUS’ comment letters, recommends NASCUS policy positions, and guides NASCUS’ legislative activity. An in-person meeting occurs at our annual meeting—the NASCUS State Summit.
  • Biennial NASCUS Profile of State Credit Union Regulatory Agencies. Published every two years, the NASCUS Profile of State Credit Union Regulatory Agencies is a reference to the general organizational structure, personnel policies, statutes and regulations of the state credit union regulatory agencies.
