Education Committee
Committee Mission:
The Education Committee is a standing committee responsible for designing,
promoting and providing educational programs and training for employees
of NASCUS members. The Committee also oversees the preparation and
coordination for the NASCUS State System Summit. The Committee
monitors results and submits educational and training recommendations
to the Board for consideration.

Legislative and Regulatory Affairs Committee
Committee Mission:
The Legislative and Regulatory Affairs Committee is a standing committee
that works to advance legislative and regulatory issues that preserve
the viability of the dual chartering system. The committee strengthens
state credit union regulatory agencies by communicating and working
cooperatively, whenever practicable, with the credit union community
and federal and state legislative and governmental bodies. The Committee also has four subcommittees: State Affairs, Federal Affairs, Capital Modernization and Technology.

Performance Standards Committee
Committee Mission:
The Performance Standards Committee is a standing committee responsible
for administering the accreditation program. The Committee occasionally
makes recommendations to the NASCUS Board for modification. It is the
duty of the Committee to submit recommendations for accreditation to
the Board for qualifying state credit union supervisory agencies.

to regulations written as a result of H.R. 1151,
the Credit Union Membership Access Act.

NASCUS/NCUA Corporate Credit Union Task
Force
This task force serves as a source for gathering information about corporate
credit union issues and to represent state supervisory authorities with
state-chartered corporate credit unions in their states when NASCUS meets
with NCUA Board members, NCUA staff and NCUA's OCCU staff. The Committee
also serves as a source for gathering information to further the goals
of the state system in developing corporate credit unions.

This working group solicits input and facilitates recommendations to
