NASCUS encourages each state to send at least one examiner to this event. This is the only school exclusively for state credit union examiners.
During the school, we will explore the issues essential to examining state credit unions effectively. The agenda also includes an Examiner's Communications Workshop designed to enhance attendees writing and presentation skills. Other sessions will focus on the critical credit union operational and examination issues of 2008 such as interest rate risk, mortgage lending issues and more.
Throughout the week, attendees will have the chance to exchange examination best practices with their peers from across the country. Tuition is $1,299 which includes instruction, four nights of lodging and most meals. NISCUE scholarships are available for state examiners. Send an email to ryan@nascus.org with your questions.
