NASCUS Holding Forum on Loan Modification and Foreclosure Issues This Week

January 25, 2010 — For three days, NASCUS, state examiners and credit union CEOs will examine the various credit risk issues inherent in the collection process today.

The forum, January 26-28 in Ontario, Calif., will cover such timely topics as collection practices and fraud risk in collections, repossession and foreclosure policies, troubled debt restructuring, allowance for loan loss implications and related bankruptcy issues.

NASCUS is pleased to present a faculty comprised of the credit union system's experts in this complex field. Speakers include Bruce Pearson of Styskal, Wiese & Melchione, LLP; Donald Wansten, California Regional VP with Alaska USA Mortgage; Michael Sacher, CPA; Frank Drake of Smith Debman; and renowned mortgage fraud expert Richard Hagar.
