NASCUS Online University — Free to State Examiners!

July 15, 2010 — Does your state have travel restrictions? Do you have a new examiner in need of training? Remember, the NASCUS Online University is free to state agencies and the credits count toward NASCUS State Examiner Certification.

The NASCUS Online University works cooperatively with the Credit Union Executive Society (CUES) and through the expertise of the nationally known educational organization, Digital University, to provide online education to state examiners. NASCUS Online University provides state regulatory agencies greater access to education than ever before. Plus, due to the generosity of the NISCUE Trustees, the NASCUS Online University is free to state agencies.

Students have access to more than 150 courses geared to familiarizing them with the trends and issues facing credit unions in a succinct format of one-to-two hour modules. NASCUS Online University is located at www.nascusonline.org. Examiners can access the university 24-hours a day, 7-days- a-week. This program is valuable for new examiners as well as seasoned examiners looking to update their knowledge and skills.

In addition to the courses, the program offers the Weekly Regulatory Update summarizing news from federal agencies on regulatory topics. The NASCUS Online University also includes access to a compliance center which compiles compliance resources in one convenient area.
