Larson Appointed to Second Term as Director of Wisconsin Office of Credit Unions
Jan. 25, 2011 Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker appointed Ginger Larson as director of the Wisconsin Office of Credit Unions. Larson held the position from 1996-2003, and continued to work for the agency following her first term.
Larson is an active member of NASCUS and a former Board member and officer. She currently serves as Chairman of the NASCUS Audit Committee as a trustee of NASCUS' educational foundation, the National Institute of State Credit Union Examination (NISCUE). She previously was Chairman of NISCUE.
She succeeds Suzanne Cowan, who was also an active participant in NASCUS as a Board member and officer.
"NASCUS congratulates Ginger on her reappointment to the Director position of the Wisconsin Office of Credit Unions. She is a long-time, active member of NASCUS and we look forward to continuing to work for her," said NASCUS President and CEO Mary Martha Fortney. "NASCUS would also like to gratefully acknowledge Sue Cowan, the immediate past Wisconsin Office of Credit Unions Director, for her great contributions to NASCUS as a member, Board director and officer."
