White House Withdraws Decker Nomination to NCUA Board

March. 13, 2012 - Upon her request, the White House withdrew the nomination of Carla M. León-Decker to be a member of the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) Board.

She would have taken the NCUA Board position for a six-year term currently held by Gigi Hyland, whose term expired August 2011. Hyland remains on the NCUA Board.

León-Decker is the President and CEO of the D.C. Federal Credit Union. Prior to D.C. Federal, she also held positions at PAHO/WHO Federal Credit Union and Transportation Federal Credit Union. She is a credit union development educator and Co-Founder and Director of the Network of Latino Credit Unions & Professionals.
