Washington CU Division's Lacy-Roberts Named CU Program Manager

April 25, 2012 - The Washington Division of Credit Unions (Division) announced that Doug Lacy-Roberts is the new Division Program Manager, effective May 1, 2012. He follows Mike Delimont, who recently announced his retirement.

As the Program Manager, Lacy-Roberts is responsible for managing the examination and supervision program of credit unions. He has been with the Division for 12 years as an instrumental part of the Division’s examination and supervision program. Prior to the state agency, he worked for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) in various roles including as a credit specialist and a bank closing specialist and manager of a large portfolio of distressed loans. 

"Doug has been with the Division for over 12 years and he brings a strong regulatory background to the Program Manager position. He has a reputation of being fair with credit unions and a great resource for examiners," said Washington Division of Credit Unions Director Linda Jekel.  I look forward to working with him in his new role as the Program Manager.”

Lacy-Roberts has been active in NASCUS during his time at the Washington agency and has served as faculty for NASCUS state examiner training sessions on issues such as member business lending. NASCUS congratulates Lacy-Roberts and looks forward to continuing to work with him in his new role.
