NASCUS' 4th Annual Wisconsin Directors College

May 16The Wisconsin Office of Credit Unions, NASCUS, and the Wisconsin Credit Union League encourage all credit union board members, supervisory committee members and other volunteers along with credit union management to attend this important one-day educational event on Tuesday, June 18 at Empower Credit Union in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We're proud that this is NASCUS' 4th year in Wisconsin. Please note this event is entirely different from the previous years' colleges. We encourage prior attendees as well as first timers to participate.

The day includes many interactive sessions intended to enhance credit union volunteers' knowledge on current best practices in credit union governance, compliance and operations from the regulatory perspective.

Kim Santos, Wisconsin's New Director of Credit Unions and Mary Martha Fortney, President and CEO of NASCUS will begin the day with updates on the key issues impacting Wisconsin state credit unions and credit unions nationwide. Ms. Santos will focus on the latest issues Wisconsin examiners are citing most in their examinations. Next, renowned credit union investment expert Ed Meier will present a session on Emerging Issues in Credit Union Investments that will be helpful to all credit union volunteers. We also have sessions planned on the latest in mortgage regulations. As all board members need annual training on the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), the day closes with a session on BSA essentials for Boards.

The registration rate for this event just $215 per person. If you have any questions, email jenny@nascus.org. We have attached a working agenda. To register click here.
