Michigan Commissioner Ken Ross Appointed to NASCUS Board of Directors

Arlington, Va. — NASCUS Chairman Tom Candon (VT) announced that Ken Ross, the commissioner of the Michigan Office of Financial and Insurance Regulation, was appointed to the NASCUS Board of Directors.

Ross will fill the unexpired term of Roger Little, also of Michigan, who retired from his state regulatory career on January 1, 2011. Ross' term will run until September 2011.

Ross has served as commissioner of the Michigan Office of Financial and Insurance Regulation since February 2008. Before being appointed Commissioner, Ross served as the Deputy Commissioner for Policy and the Commissioner's Chief of Staff. Prior to coming to OFIR, Ross served as the Vice President of Regulatory and Legal Affairs for the Michigan Credit Union League.
