NASCUS Directors College Series Continues to Texas

July 15, 2010 — In response to increasing regulatory emphasis on corporate governance and a focus on the manner in which directors carry out their responsibilities, NASCUS continues to hold its Directors College series. Since its first Directors College in 2008, NASCUS has thus far trained more than 600 directors.

This College, which will be led by former and current regulator faculty from across the nation, is coming to Texas on September 29 at the Marriott Riverwalk in San Antonio. Sessions will include education on topics such as credit union director duties, responsibilities and training, responding to exam findings and critical compliance and regulatory issues. Speakers for this event include Harold Feeney, Commissioner, Texas Credit Union Department and Dennis Dollar, former NCUA Chairman.

NASCUS State System Summit attendees (Sept. 29-Oct. 2 in San Antonio) can attend this event at no cost. To see the full agenda and to register, click here. If you have any questions, please email
