TruMark Financial Credit Union CEO Richard Stipa Appointed to NASCUS Credit Union Advisory Council

June 16, 2014 Richard F. Stipa, chief executive officer of the Trevose, Pa.-headquartered TruMark Financial Credit Union since 2001, has been appointed to the National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors (NASCUS) Credit Union Advisory Council.

Stipa will represent District 1, which includes Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Kentucky, Rhode Island, Vermont, Ohio, Indiana and Michigan.

Stipa’s appointment to the Council was made by NASCUS Council Chairman Cathie Tierney, president and CEO of Community First Credit Union in Appleton, Wis.

“Rick is well-respected in the credit union industry, and I am looking forward to working with him on the NASCUS Credit Union Advisory Council,” said Tierney.

Stipa is a director of the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association (PCUA), and is also a director of the Pennsylvania Credit Union Foundation.

Previously, Stipa served on the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia’s Credit Union Advisory Council, the Credit Union National Association State Credit Union Subcommittee, and the PSCU Strategic Planning Committee. He also served on Pennsylvania Credit Union Association’s State Advisory Committee and Governmental Affairs Committee/PAC Trustees.
