More Speakers Being Added to NASCUS State System Summit Program

August 21, 2014 More speakers have been added to the NASCUS State System Summit, which will take place Sept. 10-12 at the Omni Hotel in Nashville, Tenn., including former NCUA Board member Geoff Bacino, an expert in the area of Dodd-Frank legislation and its impact on both credit unions and government-sponsored lending entities, and Al Ralston, a consultant to BECU, one of the nation’s largest credit unions.

Other speakers include World Council of Credit Unions President and CEO Brian Branch, Guy Messick, of Messick & Lauer P.C., and National Association of Credit Union Service Organizations general counsel, NCUA Board member Rick Metsger, and Frank Drake, a partner with the law firm of Smith Debnam Narron Drake Saintsing & Myers LLP, to name a few.

During the sessions, speakers and participants will address such critical issues as cyber security, interest rate risk, CUSOs, litigation against credit unions, and patent trolls.
